On 2 and 3 November 2014 over 150 of the world’s hottest tech start-up firms including 25 of Northern Ireland’s finest, attended the Belfast Summit.
The Belfast Summit was held as a precursor to Europe’s biggest tech event, the annual Web Summit, that has been attracting record numbers to Dublin since 2010 and which has been referred to as ‘Davos for geeks’.
Delegates and decision makers from over 20 countries were welcomed to Belfast’s T13, in the Titanic Quarter and were able to enjoy local food and drink and hear from a stellar line up of speakers including Marcus Segal, James Whelton, and also our own Chris McClelland from Brewbot.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase Belfast and Northern Ireland as a tech location and for networking in advance of the main Web Summit event in Dublin where Invest NI exhibited alongside 13+ local companies including:
