Sir Patrick is Deputy Chairman of Viridian Group Limited, the all-island energy company which operates in competitive markets North and South and whose major subsidiary is Northern Ireland Electricity. As Chairman of the NI Growth Challenge and the NI Quality Centre, he initiated their merger under the new Centre for Competitiveness.
He is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast and of University College Dublin and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Executive MBA in European Utility Management at Jacobs University Bremen.
