About Innovation Week
Invest Northern Ireland will launch its inaugural Innovation Week in March 2006. Beginning on 21 March 2006, there will be a series of events to help demystify the term innovation and demonstrate practically how it is inherent in companies that achieve long term success.
Our aim is to encourage more businesses to view innovation as essential to their day-to-day activities by highlighting the businesses benefits to be gained when adopting an innovative attitude throughout their operations. During Innovation Week 2006, we will:
- define innovation and demonstrate how innovation is inherent within companies who achieve sustained business growth and long-term competitiveness;
- challenge current thinking and attitudes towards innovation and outline the consequences of not innovating;
- promote the commercialisation of new ideas and illustrate how innovation can be applied across all business disciplines;
- outline how and when businesses in Northern Ireland can access the support, advice and learning interventions available from Invest NI; and
- work with key partners and business organisations to foster a culture of innovation within the Northern Ireland business community.
Attendance at Innovation Week events are by invitation only. To allow active participation, spaces for some events are limited. You can reserve your free place by booking online now.
