Management team and divisions

Our Chief Executive, Alastair Hamilton, reports to the Board and manages Invest NI’s Senior Management Team.

The Senior Management Team is responsible for achieving Invest NI’s goals and targets as set out in the corporate and operating plans. The Team oversees the delivery of Invest NI’s range of programmes and services.  

Operating divisions

The Senior Management Team is grouped into four operating divisions, each headed by a Managing Director. The divisions are:  

• Clients Group and Business International
• Clients Group and Entrepreneurship
• Innovation and Capability Development Group
• Corporate Services Group

The first two groups directly manage client relationships and are organised sectorally. These groups manage our network of local and international offices, are responsible for promoting Northern Ireland overseas and for promoting entrepreneurship within Northern Ireland.

The third group manages our programmes and services and is structured by business discipline.

The fourth group manages corporate functions such as human resources, information technology, finance, communications, appraisal, strategic planning and property solutions.
