Support for business
Our support is both financial and advisory.
We focus our financial resources on our clients. These are generally businesses in the manufacturing and tradable services sectors. Normally they are selling, or have the potential to sell, into markets outside Northern Ireland. Our clients also include inward investors.
We also provide a range of programmes and information services that are open to all businesses, including those that do not currently qualify as Invest NI clients.
How can you become an Invest NI client?
It’s simple – your business just has to meet some straightforward criteria.
Aside from showing a willingness to work with us, you will need to demonstrate that now, or over the next three years, your business will have:
- total sales of over £100,000 per year; and
- sales outside Northern Ireland greater than 25 per cent of turnover, or greater than £250,000 a year.
Companies in the tradable services sector, that is, those that can sell their services internationally, must also:
- have the potential to sustain salaries above the Northern Ireland private sector median; or
- show that they can achieve a minimum gross margin of 20 per cent.
If you can satisfy the above criteria and would like to become an Invest NI client, contact your nearest Invest NI office. Find your nearest Invest NI office.
Our clients benefit from a comprehensive analysis of their business and can then access a range of services tailored to their needs
Many of our support services are also available to businesses which do not currently qualify as Invest NI clients
Our client charter informs clients about the standards and delivery of our products and services
