Our strategy in this sector, currently in development, will centre on the 40 niche services we have identified for growth through export sales.

Creative industries

This embryonic industry has the potential to develop on a global scale. A sector development strategy is due to be completed in March 2007.

We work closely with Momentum – the Northern Ireland ICT Federation – on issues facing the software sector, which has grown rapidly over recent years.

Our support for this mature sector focuses on building skills and capability to encourage a more innovative, strategic and market-focused outlook.

This sector has enjoyed phenomenal growth since 1994. We support business development aspects of tourism within the context of Northern Ireland Tourist Board policy.
