One of the best ways to explore opportunities in overseas markets is to take part in trade missions or exhibitions. Invest NI offers extensive support in this area in the form of advice and by way of financial assistance.   

How can we help?

If you are taking part in an Invest NI trade visit or exhibition, we can help you commission general market information, specific market research including assessing opportunities or potential, and a dedicated meetings schedule.

What financial support do we offer?

For trade visits we provide 50% of the cost of economy airfare, excluding airport passenger duty, (for 1 person) and up to £75 per night towards accommodation costs (for 1 person).

For exhibitions where Invest NI has a stand, participants may be offered 50% of the stand costs. For exhibitions outside the UK participants may be eligible for 50% of economy airfare excluding airport passenger duty (for 2 people) and up to £75 per night for accommodation costs (for 2 people).

We assess applications for financial support on a case-by-case basis.
