RTD Networking

Our Research and Technological Development (RTD) Networking programme enables businesses and research organisations to see and experience state-of-the-art technologies.

The programme provides financial assistance towards the cost of travel associated with accessing the technologies, towards seeing them in action, or towards meeting with experts in the field.

The programme is aimed at strengthening the industrial competitiveness of Northern Ireland by improving its market-driven and commercially focused technological research capability.

Access to state-of-the-art technologies

By seeing demonstrations of advanced and emerging technologies and speaking to experts in the field businesses and research organisations can:

• accelerate their decision-making process
• get ahead of the competition
• improve capability in new and advanced technologies
• deepen knowledge of new and advanced technologies outside the United Kingdom (UK)

The programme ensures that business people and academics have the opportunity to access expertise and international RTD contracts from outside the UK that are directly relevant to the market-driven, commercial activities central to Northern Ireland’s competitiveness.

Who is eligible?

The programme is open to all businesses and higher education institutions.
