Our Product and Process Development programme is designed to help businesses develop innovative products and processes. The programme offers specialist advice, one-to-one consultations and financial assistance.
The financial support is for costs that could be incurred as part of developing a new product or manufacturing process. Up to £35,000 may be available for costs such as salaries of project staff, fees relating to the employment of subcontractors or consultants, or materials consumed during the manufacture of a prototype.
The programme runs over three phases: project identification, an explanatory briefing by Invest NI, and application processing.
Who is eligible?
The programme is open to all Invest NI clients with fewer than 50 employees following referral and agreement with your Client Executive. Find out how to become an Invest NI client.
