Our Carbon Trust Programme is a portfolio of services that helps businesses to become or remain energy efficient.

The services, developed in conjunction with the Carbon Trust, include:

• energy seminars and workshops
• publications about energy efficiency
• a dedicated energy helpline: 0800 085 2005
• an energy efficiency design advice
• free on-site energy surveys and audits

The services are delivered by independent energy consultants and energy and technical audits may include up to 10 days’ free consultancy.

Energy efficiency should be seen as a key competitive driver for Northern Ireland businesses. In some cases it has reduced energy expenditure by 20 per cent.

Who is eligible?

The Carbon Trust Programme is available to all Invest NI clients and Northern Ireland businesses that have annual energy costs in excess of £50,000. Businesses spending less than £50,000 can obtain helpline advice from an energy consultant. Find out how to become an Invest NI client.
