Our Trade Advisory Service provides businesses with tailored export consultancy from Invest NI-appointed advisors based in overseas markets.

The advisors have been selected by Invest NI for their commercial expertise, local knowledge and network of contacts.

The consultancy is available for businesses able to demonstrate that they have a suitable product or service, combined with the motivation and resources to export to the following markets:

• Middle East: Arabian Gulf states
• Mainland China and Hong Kong
• South Africa
• Germany
• United States

By using this service you can maximise your chances of winning new business and:

• reduce the risk of failure
• shorten the time to market
• ease the expansion process into new markets

Markets not covered by our Trade Advisory Service are often covered by UK Trade & Investment, the government organisation which offers to support all suitable United Kingkdom businesses wishing to expand into overseas markets.

Who is eligible?

The programme is open to all Invest NI clients that have completed our free-of-charge Business Health Check. Support may be available for companies that have not undertaken this check, although such businesses must undertake a check within a specific time period. Find out how to become an Invest NI client.
