Trade Missions

Our programme of trade missions, consisting of both sectoral and multi-sector visits to international markets, is a popular and effective way for businesses to extend market reach.

We organise an annual programme of trade missions. They form an integral part of the overall Passport to Export suite of programmes and include one-to-one consultations, specialist advice, networking opportunities and financial assistance. Our trade missions are organised to allow businesses to:

  • set and achieve their own exporting objectives
  • take part in a limited number of group activities, such as briefings and receptions
  • arrange their own programme of visits and meetings with potential customers, agents, possible joint-venture partners or government representatives

Sales opportunity

We also support trade mission delegates with pre-mission briefings and practical support on the ground. As part of the mission, the organiser will typically provide you with a range of useful market information and a schedule of one-to-one business appointments, providing an opportunity to generate sales leads.

Who is eligible?

Our trade missions are open to all Northern Ireland companies currently exporting, or with the potential to export their product or services.
