In 2008, Invest NI will provide eight international exhibiting opportunities at some of the biggest food events in the world.

February
Gulfood, Dubai
24 - 27 February

Taking place since 1987, Gulfood is the region's largest and most important industry event of the year and a strategic platform for buyers and sellers to conduct direct business face to face. The exhibition is a showcase for manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers from around the world, representing all of the key sectors within the food and hospitality trade.

St Patrick’s Market, London
15 - 16 March

This outdoor market attracts consumers and trade alike and is particularly suited to companies who wish to build brand awareness in Great Britain, and enjoy a highly successful weekend’s trading.

6 - 9 April

Food and Drink Expo is a display of the latest and most innovative food and drink products and services from around the world.

Speciality and Fine Food show, London
7 - 9 September

The Fair showcases speciality producers. Visitors are able to discover, sample and meet the producers of some of the finest artisan products available.

SHOP, Dublin
29 September - 1 October

Ireland's biggest retail, food and drink event provides the opportunity to meet buyers, distributors and to assess market trends.

Food on the Move, London
15 - 16 October

The UK food-to-go market has become increasingly sophisticated and diverse. Visitors to the event will be owners, managers and partners of independently owned outlets and small chains, or representatives of the multiples and larger regional chains. Exhibitors will be suppliers and distributors of equipment, products, technology and services to food outlets.

9 - 10 November

OOH (Out Of Home) Live is a completely new show targeting the ‘UK’s brunch, lunch and snacking industry’. The show should be of interest to any company that serves quality food quickly, catering for the fast growing out of home/food-on-the-go market.

BBC Good Food Show, Birmingham
26 - 30 November

The BBC Good Food Show is in its 19th year.  It is renowned in the marketplace as the largest consumer food show in the UK – but also well known for its ability to attract trade buyers (18% of visitors say they work in the food industry). The show attracts over 130,000 visitors in 2007 all with a passion for food and shopping who attended in order to discover and buy new products.
