Young entrepreneurs

Many of today's best-known entrepreneurs started their business when they were very young. For example Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and Frank and Dan Carney who started Pizza Hut all started out young.

Starting your own business can be both financially rewarding and hugely satisfying. If you are aged 30 or under, you can benefit from a range of support especially developed for young entrepreneurs.

• Advantage NI
  Helps and supports young entrepreneurs via a range of products and services that can be accessed through their website. Register for free support on the Advantage NI website.
• Prince's Trust
  Helps unemployed and disadvantaged young people aged 18-30 to start a business. The Trust provides initial funding and support to start up, a personal mentor for up to three years and tailored ICT training and marketing support. • Enterprise Northern Ireland
  Anyone aged 16+ can take part in the Go for it programme, which provides invaluable information on sales and marketing, financial management, business, ICT, legal issues and more. Find out about the Go for it programme.
