- 1st prize - €10,000 plus mentor support to develop aid the commercial viability of the concept (10 visits over 12 months)
- 2nd prize - €5,000
- 3rd prize - €3,000
- Technological innovation - €7,500 to the most technologically innovative idea sponsored by Cruickshanks
- Three awards of merit - €2,500 per project
- Best postgraduate submission - €6,000
- Runner-up postgraduate submission - €3,000
In addition, a prize of €3,000 will be awarded to the academic institution with the best entries
Cruickshanks are offering a consultancy service for up to €20,000 for all winners to aid the students to patent and protect their projects.
