Print this page  Send to a friend

This competition is open to all full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students attending any third level educational institution throughout Ireland.

Ideally, entries should be submitted on a team basis (of not more than five students) although individual entries will also be accepted. Team entries will be eligible for a higher mark in the scoring system for the selection of finalists. Remember, too, that teams can also be entered on a cross-disciplinary basis.

How to enter
To participate in these Awards, you must provide a detailed outline of your business idea and a plan for its development. It should be presented in a manner that clearly demonstrates that your business concept has been well researched for viability and market potential.

Other important points to note:

Each submission should include:

  • A completed entry form, download the 2008 Student Awards entry form (PDF)
  • A concise summary of your project (no more than three pages in length)
  • The business plan
  • Your project should be presented in a document of not more than 18 pages in total, to include the project summary (which should be attached at the beginning of your entry). Submissions that exceed this length will be automatically disqualified.

Completed entry forms must be validated by your college lecturer.

The closing date for receipt of entries is Wednesday 23 April 2008

Six hard copies of each entry should be submitted (photocopies will suffice). Please note, submissions cannot be accepted by email.

Completed entries should be returned to:
