The Future is Yours
National Enterprise Week ran from the 12 - 18 November 2007. This annual UK-wide week of activities aimed to inspire people to be enterprising - to turn ideas into something real.
In Northern Ireland, Enterprise week promoted entrepreneurial activities across a broad cross section of the population, including educational institutions. Throughout the week, schools, colleges and universities were invited to attend activities and events catering for students from key stage two through to higher education.
As a forerunner to these exciting events Invest Northern Ireland, as part of the Go For It campaign, ran an entrepreneurship challenge for key stage three pupils (11-14 yrs old).
Health and safety is a major focus for schools, businesses and each of us as individuals. It is regularly featured in the media and is impacting on all areas of our lifestyle including travel, work and leisure time.
