Invest Northern Ireland is hosting a number of events in the North West in 2009 to help local companies improve their performance.
The ‘Best Practice Clubs’ seminars are open to Invest NI clients and aim to help businesses embrace even more effective procedures and techniques to cut costs, develop efficiencies and increase profits. Each event focuses on specific topics of interest and expert advice is available.
Firms attending the events can obtain information on how to improve operations in a range of areas such as supply chain management, transport and logistics, financial management and marketing products and services outside Northern Ireland.
Des Gartland, Invest NI’s North Western Regional Office Manager, said: “Efficiency and cost effectiveness are becoming even more important to an increasing number of local companies, striving to improve their profit margins and navigate through the current economic downturn. Invest NI is dedicated to helping these local firms by providing practical guidance and advice.”
Mr Gartland continued: “Company delegates at these events can discuss common business problems, consider effective solutions and introduce better processes to help them through these challenging times.”

Invest NI’s ‘Best Practice Clubs’ complement its ongoing regional series of events, ‘Challenges and Opportunities – The Credit Crunch’, designed to help companies navigate successfully through the current challenging economic times.
This series also builds on other Invest NI programmes of support such as Innovation Vouchers, Introduction to Exporting and the Growth Accelerator Programme, through which Invest NI is providing easy to access, flexible, support to accelerate the growth of our locally-owned business base.
