Ken Newell Launches Workshops to Address Challenges of Organisational Change

The process of change can be complicated and difficult for businesses but a series of workshops, due to be launched this month, will target managers and HR professionals responsible for creating and sustaining organisational change, and help them manage the process more effectively. 

Sponsored by Invest Northern Ireland and facilitated by Whitewater Consulting, the “Challenge of Change” business breakfast seminars will focus on a variety of issues relating to change management, from capability development and corporate metamorphosis, to the ‘human’ side of IT transformation and performance management.

Ken Newell, The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church will kick off the first of seven practical workshops on Friday 21st January 2005 at theRamada Hotel when he discusses “The Social Impact of Personal Change.” The Moderator will talk about the importance of personal commitment to change, as the first step towards driving change and influencing others of the need to change, amongst other topical issues.

The workshop will provide an excellent opportunity for companies to benchmark practices, network and discuss the challenges of change and how real initiatives are delivering real results in local private and public sector organisations. Group discussions and Q&A sessions will assist participants in adding value to their business by sharing topical information on change and real life organisational issues.

Future speakers include representatives from Liberty IT, Bombardier,Grafton, the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Bank of Ireland as well as award-winning corporate change expert, Stephen Parry.
