Invest NI offered over £16,000 to help Linton enhance its sales ability and profile in export markets. The company appointed a Sales Manager to drive marketing activity and increase sales of Linton’s separator product outside Northern Ireland.

As a result of this investment, Linton has secured £450,000 worth of orders in the Republic of Ireland, England and Holland. With a target of achieving export sales worth over £500,000 by 2011, Linton is progressing well towards its objective.

Oonagh Hinds, Invest NI’s Eastern Regional Office Manager, commented: “Linton’s investment to develop its market position outside Northern Ireland is beginning to pay dividends.  With enhanced marketing expertise and management experience, Linton can actively pursue export opportunities and build on these results.”

Nigel Johnston of Linton Solutions, commented: “Assistance from Invest NI has been an important component in our growth plans and I am delighted with the success we have achieved to date. Our new Sales Manager will further enhance our management team and will make a significant contribution as we focus on driving sales in export markets.”
