Environmental consultancy, McAllister Brothers is investing £75,000 to increase export sales, with support from Invest Northern Ireland.

McAllister Brothers Ltd is recognised as an industry leader in the use of trenchless technology to inspect, maintain and renovate pipelines and sewers, with minimum surface disruption.

Invest NI offered £26,000 to McAllister Brothers as part of their plans to implement an extensive marketing strategy and recruit a new General Manager, which will enhance their management structure and increase sales levels in ROI and the Middle East.

Mark Bleakney, Manager of Invest NI’s Southern Office, commented: “In challenging economic conditions, McAllister Brothers experienced a change in company structure and a reduction in demand for core services in local markets.

“By focusing on improving export capabilities to secure business opportunities outside Northern Ireland, McAllister Brothers can support sustainable growth by building up a strong market presence to capitalise on future projects.”

Leo McAllister, Director of McAllister Brothers, commented: “Invest NI’s support and advice over the past number of years has been invaluable in helping us to enhance our financial reporting system, implement efficiencies and increase our ability to sell in new markets.

“By enhancing our presence among existing contacts within our targeted markets, we hope to develop these relationships and maximise opportunities to compete for new business.”
