The goal of this mission is to raise the profile of Northern Ireland as a trading partner and subsequently increase the level of exports from Northern Ireland to Colombia, Peru and Chile. It will provide an opportunity for companies to improve their understanding of the market trends and business customs in their target territories, whilst helping to develop an extended network of contacts in each area.
Following the recent visit to Belfast of President Juan Manuel Santos of the Republic of Colombia, as part of his State Visit to the UK, Invest NI is keen to follow up and strengthen links between Northern Ireland and Latin America in order to enhance business opportunities in these territories.
Colombia, Peru and Chile are three of the most exciting economies in this region. Opportunities exist across key sectors such as materials handling, manufacturing, infrastructure, ICT, aerospace, financial services and pharmaceuticals.
All three countries are part of the Pacific Alliance and, as a result, are considered to offer a safe and attractive business environment for Northern Ireland companies to pursue potential business prospects.
In addition to the export advice and guidance provided bu Invest Northern Ireland's trade team in Belfast, we have an in-market trade advisor who can provide tailored market research and help arrange individual appointments for your company in each of these 3 countries.
* Contribution towards airfares and accommodation is for one participant per company only
