8 companies from Northern Ireland took part in our Trade Mission to Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia from 14 - 22 March 2016 showcasing their products and services to these south-east Asian markets.

The trade mission visited the cities of Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta, and provided the opportunity for experienced exporters and new entrants to the Asia-Pacific region to engage with partners in this market of huge opportunity.

Who attended

Anaconda offers a range of mobile tracked and wheel mounted crushing, screening and conveying equipment for use in the quarry, mining and materials recycling sectors. All products are sold and supported by a dedicated local distributor. Anaconda has a range of mobile scalpers, finishing screen and trommels as well as a tracked jaw crusher and a wide range of wheeled and track mounted conveyors from 12m – 24m. Most of the products can be shipped worldwide in standard 40ft containers thus reducing the cost of shipping to a minimum.

MediZar® Sanitiser Products specialises in the supply of leading edge technology anti-bacterial / microbial sanitiser products for the Health, Education, Pharmacy and Personal Care markets. MediZar® is a hygiene revolution – a powerful, gentle and long lasting sanitiser certified to kill MRSA and E.Coli in 30 seconds. It will kill 99.9999% of harmful and deadly bacteria & viruses including: C.Difficile, Listeria, Legionella, Norovirus and the NDM-1 virus. MediZar® has full BS EN test Certification.

Founded in the early 1990’s, NiSoft is one of the world’s recognised leaders in the development of specialist Safety Documentation Management System software designed specifically to meet the needs of asset intensive and continuous processing facilities. The product, Eclipse, is considered among the most comprehensive yet flexible systems of its type.

North West Regional College (NWRC) provides Further and Higher Education and Skills training. The college’s three main campuses boast modern and industry-standard learning environments, at which 20,000+ students annually achieve their personal educational goals. Seven academic schools offer a diverse curriculum. NWRC offers quality improvement for TVET; development of the curriculum to meet industry needs; support for the development of online and blended learning employability strategies for students; business improvement techniques; staff development for teachers and trainers in-country and in the UK; delivery of vocational programmes; the accreditation of qualifications through UK awarding bodies.

Working closely with expert engineers and therapists, Pollock Lifts Ltd has developed a versatile range of state-of-the-art lifts to deliver the highest standards of access with comfort and safety for people with disabilities. We manufacture stylish, unobtrusively designed vertical lifts for domestic use to move from the ground floor to the first floor. We also manufacture short rise lifts for use inside and outside public buildings, with one model lifting to one metre and another lifting to three metres. Our outdoor lifts work off batteries on a trickle charge and are water resistant to IP67.

Re-Gen is a recycling company specialising in sorting and selling recyclable materials which are sold as baled paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminium cans and steel cans, plastic film and hard plastics. Operating with minimal impact on the local environment, Re-Gen processes in excess of 120,000 tonnes of recyclable waste every year. Re-Gen sorts waste into its constituent parts which are then baled and sold to or disposed of via industrial materials re-processors. Over 95% of recovered material is exported beyond Northern Ireland.

Rubber & Plastic Products (NI) Ltd supplies hydraulic and industrial products, including hose assemblies to materials handling and diesel generator set manufacturers. We also supply a range of products into continuous process industries and the semiconductor industry. We supply our products to world-leading manufacturers in: screening, crushing and recycling plant manufacturers; bus and aircraft makers; continuous process industries; generator manufacture; water and waste industries; public sector bodies; engineering merchants; agricultural equipment manufacturers and support industries. We export to China, EU, ROI, India, Canada, USA, Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore and Nigeria.
