Comfizone to Double Workforce in Coalisland by 2017

Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Jonathan Bell has announced Coalisland based manufacturer Comfizone is to double its workforce over the next two years.

The Co. Tyrone company, which specialises in bespoke mattresses and bedding products, plans to recruit 16 additional staff to meet expected future demand for its products.

Jonathan Bell said: “Comfizone, through this investment, is demonstrating its commitment to develop the business and its expansion will be a welcome boost for the community in Tyrone.

“The new jobs will create employment opportunities in production and administration roles and, once all in place, will generate over £242,000 in additional salaries for the local economy. Invest Northern Ireland’s support is enabling Comfizone to put resources in place to fulfil orders for new business.”

Peter Bradley, director and co-founder of Comfizone, said: “This expansion to our workforce forms part of our two year growth strategy to ramp up our sales outside Northern Ireland. Invest NI’s support is enabling to proceed quickly with our recruitment plans and position ourselves competitively to secure new business.”
