Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster today urged businesses to explore all sources of support to help them sustain and grow their business.
The Minister was highlighting a new section on Invest Northern Ireland’s nibusinessinfo.co.uk website which signposts small and medium sized enterprises to a comprehensive list of local and national sources of funding and loans. The new web pages have been developed in conjunction with the Institute of Directors (IoD) in Northern Ireland.
The web pages, which can
be accessed at www.nibusinessinfo.co.uk/financialsupport
offer a structured gateway to information about hundreds of local and national sources of support. Businesses can search for information most relevant to their business needs, by location and also by sector.
Arlene Foster said: “Given the ongoing challenges faced by local businesses it is more important than ever that they get the support they need to continue to trade profitably while looking to future growth. This excellent resource is invaluable as it enables businesses to quickly and easily access information about a wide range of grants and loans that they may not already be aware of.
“This new section of the nibusinessinfo.co.uk website has been developed in association with the Institute of Directors, which plays a key role in supporting business leaders.”
Michael Murray, chairman of the IoD’s Economic Strategy Committee said: “This is a practical tool that businesses in Northern Ireland can use to maximise the support available to them to sustain and grow their business in these difficult trading times.”
