Invest Northern Ireland is helping Omagh based IT company Loughtec to increase its market share in the Republic of Ireland and Europe.

Loughtec, which offers innovative IT consultancy and service solutions to a wide variety of businesses has invested over £33,000 in market research and export development, to help expand its products and services to RoI and mainland Europe. The company has employed a business development manager to drive growth opportunities in new markets. Invest NI offered Loughtec over £8,000 towards the project.

Mary Gormley, Manager of Invest NI’s Western Regional Office, commented: “This investment has helped the firm to raise its corporate profile and boost its competitive position in export markets. Loughtec’s success in RoI to date will hopefully stimulate further growth and help the company to secure additional business outside Northern Ireland.”

Sean McDermott, Director of Loughtec, commented: “Invest NI’s support has been instrumental in enhancing our ability to compete for new customers. We are focused on sustaining growth in RoI and will also continue to market our services to potential customers in Denmark, Holland and Sweden.”
