Rogers opens gates to business in Britain and the Republic

Rogers Fencing Systems in Draperstown has won a series of important contracts to supply steel security gates to high profile clients in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.

Rogers Fencing, which is being assisted by Invest NI to develop its marketing and sales outside Northern Ireland.  It is manufacturing and installing high specification gates for installations being developed by EDF Energy, the UK gas and electricity supplier, at one of the biggest-ever construction projects in the London area, as well as for the National Grid and the Post Office.

The company has also supplied and installed high specification security gates for ESB installations in the Republic of Ireland and locally at the George Best Belfast City Airport.

Cathal Rogers, Managing Director of Rogers Fencing, commenting on the latest contracts outside Northern Ireland, said: “We’ve been focusing resources on increasing business in Britain and the Republic and have developed a reputation of offering quality products and quick response services.

“This reputation led to an invitation from EDF Energy to tender for the new business in London. We were delighted to be invited to do so and then to win this prestigious contract from such a respected and high profile customer.

“The EDF contract strengthens our position substantially as a manufacturer of high specification and innovative security products in a very important and highly competitive marketplace.

“The National Grid, Post Office and ESB contracts have also enhanced our standing as both an innovator in security solutions and as a customer-focused company.” he added.
