Trace First excels in US veterinary market

Moira based business Trace First has secured a deal to supply its CoreOne for Labs product to one of the busiest veterinary diagnostic laboratories in the world.

This new product, developed with research and development support from Invest Northern Ireland, has the potential to significantly expand Trace First’s US customer base.

Invest NI’s support was a catalyst to implement the marketing, recruitment and R&D activities that position us for growth.

Trace First is a leader in IT systems related to animal health, veterinary surveillance and laboratory information management. Commenting on the deal with Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL), Trace First’s Co-Founder, Brian Morrow said:“We have invested considerable time and effort to design and implement a cloud-based product that meets the needs of our customer base. TVMDL is a prestigious customer and its decision to use CoreOne for Labs will help us leverage future business across the US.

“Invest NI’s support was a catalyst to implement the marketing, recruitment and R&D activities that position us for growth. We will continue to improve the functionality of CoreOne for Labs in the long-term and look forward to helping TVMDL achieve greater efficiency in its diagnostic services.”

In recent months Trace First has doubled its workforce to twelve, recruiting an Operations Manager and three additional Software Developers in Northern Ireland to support its growing sales. The company has also attended a number of trade conferences within the US veterinary market to build brand awareness.
