Offsite Construction Show 2015

Six companies from Northern Ireland exhibited at the Offsite Construction Show 2015. The show aims to highlight the benefits of offsite construction and what can be achieved by this still under exploited method of building.

Construction is a key sector in Northern Ireland with experienced companies operating across a range of areas including, general contracting, building envelope, interior fit-out, professional services, facilities management and civil engineering.

Companies from the Northern Ireland construction sector have a wealth of experience in providing innovative products and services for roads, bridges, rail, airports, housing, energy, education and healthcare projects in Ireland, Great Britain, Europe and further afield. These companies have contributed to major projects such as London 2012, Crossrail, Titanic Signature Project, national schools and hospitals projects, as well as the fit-out of iconic buildings such as 1 Hyde Park.

GES Group provides a diverse range of electrical and mechanical engineering specialisms. These include: motor rewind and remanufacture, HV/LV installation and testing, dynamic balancing and vibration analysis and the design and manufacture of switchboard distribution systems. The company also supplies a wide range of new and refurbished electric motors, and manufactures quality electronic controls and switchgears.

With over 30 years of experience, Harlequin Plastics has pioneered the manufacture and supply of rotationally moulded plastic products such as coal bunkers, grit bins, oil and water tanks. Harlequin recently moved into the manufacture and supply of a range of quality Effluent and Rainwater Harvesting Systems.

Leadon Timber Frame is dedicated to the design and construction of crafted timber frame structures. The company manufactures a variety of structures ranging from a single domestic dwelling, multi storey apartment blocks to nursing homes, hotels, town houses. It also manufactures open panel, closed panel and sip panel construction.
