Trade Mission to Colombia, Peru & Chile

Four organisations from Northern Ireland took part in a nine day trade mission to Colombia, Peru and Chile in conjunction with The British & Colombian Chamber of Commerce in London.

The mission brought some of the UK’s most interesting and innovative companies to investigate business opportunities and showcase their products and services.

AJ Power


Established in 2003, AJ Power produces a range of quality, reliable diésel generating sets from 10Kva TO 3,350KVA. Each set is manufactured at a modern production facility (10,500 sqm) in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. The directors and managers have been involved in the international power generation market for over four decades and the Company now employs over 100 people designing, developing, manufacturing and testing a wide range of generating sets which have been exported to over 80 countries worldwide.

Ulster University


Global Engagement is a key strategic objective for Ulster University. The University has identified Colombia in particular as a priority market for the export of higher education developing research and innovation links and the transfer of knowledge and expertise. The university currently recruits a small number of students from Colombia and is keen to grow collaboration with institutions in Colombia and the wider region.
