About the Grow Beyond programme

Grow Beyond is an early stage export programme designed for businesses operating within manufacturing and tradeable services to help them grow sales in the Republic of Ireland (RoI) and Great Britain (GB).

Through interactive group workshops and one-to-one mentoring sessions, the programme includes guidance on:

  • Successfully targeting and researching markets
  • Developing export markets
  • Selecting and managing sales channels
  • Developing and implementing a robust trade action plan

How can my business benefit from the Grow Beyond programme?

Participating business people will benefit from shared learning and group discussion with both peers and professional trainers and mentors. The programme will also build your confidence and experience in export planning and export plan implementation.

We were selling directly to customers and wanted to grow our sales but were not sure about the best way. Grow Beyond helped us take a new approach to selling our products on a B2B basis via distributors. It provided us with insight into this new route to market, helped us identify potential new customers and enabled us to get better at organising and managing our sales development.

Who is eligible for the Grow Beyond programme?

The Grow Beyond programme is only available to Invest Northern Ireland clients. If you would like more information on becoming a client, see How we support business.  

To be eligible, you must also meet the following criteria: 

  • Have a minimum of two years trading experience
  • Employ a minimum of three individuals (inc. owner or manager)
  • Have a turnover of £250,000 to £2m
  • Currently export less than 30% of turnover
  • Do not currently sell outside of RoI and GB

The annual minimum turnover for Grow Beyond and Graduate to Export is £250,000. The annual minimum turnover for Go Global is £500,000 and the annual minimum turnover for International Sales Leadership Programme is £5,000,000.
Q5 - Are you currently selling outside of Northern Ireland?
