Australian company ExeQution Analytics opens new office in Northern Ireland

In May 2026 Australian technology consultancy ExeQution Analytics announced it was establishing a UK and European delivery hub in Belfast, creating 23 new roles in data analytics, technology and AI.

ExeQution Analytics provides advisory and implementation consultancy to financial organisations looking to better understand their data and the markets in which they operate. Its work supports teams focused on quant research, market microstructure, algorithmic execution, transaction cost analysis and execution analysis.

Why Northern Ireland?

ExeQution Analytics chose Northern Ireland following an evaluation of other potential investment locations, including London, Dublin and Sydney.

Northern Ireland stood out because of the depth of analytical expertise available in the region.

One of the factors that gave Cat Turley, CEO and founder of ExeQution Analytics, confidence in Northern Ireland was her own experience of building a career here. Cat began her career with First Derivative in Northern Ireland, joining the company at an early stage of its growth. During her time with the company, she developed deep expertise in KX technology and financial markets while helping support the company's emergence as a global success story. That first-hand understanding of Northern Ireland's talent and technology capabilities helped shape her view of the region as a location where ambitious, knowledge-based businesses can grow and succeed internationally.

Supporting international growth from Belfast

The new Belfast operation strengthens ExeQution Analytics’ international presence and supports its future growth plans.

ExeQution Analytics works with some of the world's leading financial organisations, helping banks, asset managers, hedge funds and exchanges gain deeper insights into trading performance and market behaviour. Its bespoke analytics platforms help clients uncover patterns and opportunities hidden within complex market data, enabling better and more informed decision-making.

The company already serves clients across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region and sees significant opportunities for future growth in the UK and European markets. Belfast will strengthen its international delivery capability, allowing teams to work closely with clients in major financial centres while benefiting from Northern Ireland's highly skilled talent pool.

For Northern Ireland, the investment further strengthens the region's reputation as a centre of excellence for data analytics, financial technology and professional services, joining a growing cluster of international companies that serve global markets from here.

Invest NI support

Invest NI’s team in Australia worked closely with ExeQution Analytics as the company assessed Northern Ireland as a location for its new operation.

The team provided advice on setting up in Northern Ireland, facilitated an inward visit to introduce the company to the region and key stakeholders, and offered support towards the creation of the new roles.

Invest NI continues to work with ExeQution Analytics to support its future growth plans.

Having seen the high level of analytical expertise in Northern Ireland firsthand, I knew this was the ideal location for our expansion. Northern Ireland provides access to a highly skilled workforce with the expertise we need to serve our clients in financial hubs across the world. We are excited to establish a strong presence here and look forward to growing our team.
