Antrim software firm builds export potential

Antrim software firm Team Solutionz has announced its plans to expand into Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland with support from Invest Northern Ireland.

The company provides specialist software systems that are designed to help both public and private sector organisations improve the productivity of their automated processes. Included in its customer base are food processors, insurance brokers and aerospace manufacturers.

Invest NI has offered Team Solutionz £24,000 towards its market development activities, to help the company to promote its services outside Northern Ireland for the first time.

As part of its investment, Team Solutionz plans to employ a new Sales & Marketing Manager to help implement a comprehensive sales and marketing campaign, and also recruit three additional Software Engineers to help meet the anticipated increase in business.

Over the coming months, Team Solutionz will exhibit at a number of trade shows including the IOSH Ireland Conference in Manchester and the HR Software Show in London in a bid to attract new customers.

Gren Armstrong, Manager of Invest NI’s North Eastern Regional Office, said: “This investment is an important building block for Team Solutionz and demonstrates the company’s drive to maximise its export potential. Strengthening its management team and undertaking export focused sales and marketing activities will increase awareness of the company’s services among new customers and help Team Solutionz to generate additional sales.”

Geoff Higgins, Managing Director of Team Solutionz, said: “We recognised that in order to build a long term future for the company it was necessary to look outside Northern Ireland for growth opportunities. Developing our brand and enhancing our sales and marketing capabilities will enable us to take full advantage of export opportunities. We aim to develop a competitive position in Great Britain and in the Republic of Ireland and in the longer term secure new business in mainland Europe.”
