Start-Up Innovation Driven Enterprises (IDEs) are young, early-stage companies, led by ambitious founder teams with the potential to develop new innovative products and services, or are using existing technology to disrupt traditional industries, and a drive and capability to succeed on a global scale.
Our programme support for innovation-driven start-ups
Founder Labs
The accelerator programme supports high-potential tech IDE founders in Northern Ireland with six months of mentoring, global study visits, and investor pitching.
Business Innovation Grant (BIG)
BIG helps support sole traders, micro-businesses and SMEs to develop and bring their innovation activities to market with a grant of up to £20,000.
Founder Labs Pre-Accelerator
Our Founder Labs Pre-Accelerator programme provides support to early stage tech based founders. It is an 8-week programme of workshops, tailored 1:1 mentoring and access to networks to support ambitious founders on their entrepreneurial journey.
What additional support is available for innovation-drive start-ups?
We have a range of support available to help IDEs to develop their value propositions and scale their business. Some of this support is available to any business in Northern Ireland that meets the eligibility criteria.
