Invest NI helps Tyrone marketing business target export sales
Digital Advertising Northern Ireland (DANI) is targeting £50,000 worth of export sales over the next two years following support from Invest Northern Ireland.
The Pomeroy-based firm provides integrated online advertising solutions for a variety of businesses, including agencies based outside Northern Ireland seeking to target the local population.
DANI is investing over £19,000 to boost its profile and drive sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest NI offered the firm over £7,000 towards the project. DANI will employ four new members of staff as part of its expansion.
Mary Gormley, Manager of Invest NI’s Western Regional Office, said: “DANI is a proactive and innovative new company covering the niche market of business-to-business online advertising solutions.
“The firm has experienced steady growth, securing £45,000 worth of new business in the past six months, and is progressing well towards achieving its 2012 sales target. The creation of four new digital media jobs is positive news for the Pomeroy area and will bring associated benefits to the wider economy.”
Naomh McElhatton, Managing Director of DANI, said: “I recognised that the internet was an increasingly powerful tool for connecting buyers and sellers within the business community and established DANI to help advertisers access the Northern Ireland online marketplace.
“Invest NI’s support has made an important contribution to the growth of our business, and will continue to help us enhance our ability to compete for new customers. The sales we have secured to date are extremely encouraging and will help us to attract new customers in RoI and GB.”
