MJM Group Wins New Caribbean Contract
MJM Group has just announced a highly significant US $2.2 million (£1.2 million) contract win with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines to revitalise the dining areas on one of its prestigious cruise liners, Majesty of the Seas, in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
With a completion date of January 2007 the contract requires an intensive level of commitment and skill from MJM Group, which has over 20 years experience of providing innovative refurbishment solutions for its clients in this niche sector.
MJM Group is also currently completing a refurbishment contract in the ballroom on the Cunard Line ship, Queen Mary 2, in Bremerhaven, Germany.
These new customer wins follow hot on the heels of the successful completion of public space and accommodation area refurbishment contracts with P&O Australia in Brisbane, Australia, worth approximately US $2 million (£1.07 million) on its ship, Pacific Sun, in July 2006 and also with Costa Cruise Lines in Genoa, Italy, worth approximately €1 million on its ship, Costa Allegra, in March 2006.
Based in Rathfriland Newry, the company specialises in public area and accommodation fit-out contracts on cruise ships and ferries as well as in the hotel, corporate and retail sectors across the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. Indeed, MJM Group is also currently fitting out 5 hotels in the Republic of Ireland as part of its European Hotel Development Strategy.
