Moyola Engineers a Significant Expansion

Invest Northern Ireland is supporting Moyola Precision Engineering in its major growth investment thus allowing the company to strengthen and broaden its customer base and increase sales and profitability.

The Castledawson based company, one of Northern Ireland’s leading precision engineering firms, is investing £3.2 million in strengthening its infrastructure, expanding its premises and purchasing new leading edge technology.  MOYOLA is a company that through visionary planning and dynamic leadership actively markets its products and services to new and existing customers to help realise its goals.

The investment is expected to create 27 new skilled jobs bringing total employment at the company to 78.

Leslie Ross, managing director of Clients and Business International in Invest NI, commented: “Moyola has an excellent reputation for quality and craftsmanship and is now planning to capitalise on this through targeted marketing activity that will be focused on promoting high value components.

“Despite the general perception about manufacturing the engineering sector has been experiencing steady growth over the last year although margins have been squeezed. We are anticipating further growth in 2005, with opportunities opening up, for example in the global aerospace industry. Invest NI is keen to support manufacturing companies, such as Moyola increase capability and ensure they are in a position to take advantage of this upturn in the market, he continued.”

As well as investing in marketing and management capability Moyola Precision Engineering is investing in the latest state of the art software and other technical developments to support its growth.
