New US Deal for Dungannon Marketing Business

Integrated Marketing Management (IMM), the Dungannon-based sales and marketing company, has landed another significant contract in the US, repeat business from Rhode Island state.

IMM has already begun work on the new contract to help Rhode Island Development Corporation to attract investors in the marine technology, telecoms and defence industries in Great Britain to set up there.

The new project follows its first contract with the state agency, completed earlier in the year, involving an assessment of the business potential for Rhode Island within the UK and Irish markets.

Monica McGeary, IMM’s Managing Director and founder of the business in 2001, says: “Winning repeat business is always very important. It represents a job well done. Rhode Island was clearly impressed by the quality of our service and our commitment to business in the US.

“It also enables us to show other prospective customers in the US that IMM delivers an expert service to the satisfaction of a significant client in this important global market.

“From our point of view, the latest contract shows that we are competitive in terms of costs and the quality of services that we offer in the US, a marketplace that we have targeted for growth in our current business plan. While we have a strong market position in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, we’ve been working to broaden the base of the business by exploring the US and other areas,” adds Mrs McGeary.

Tracy Meharg, Invest NI’s Managing Director of Innovation and Capability Development, says: “IMM’s latest success in the US shows how companies in Tradeable Services can expand their markets and overall business by using the range of programmes that are readily available from Invest NI.

“The tradeable services sector in Northern Ireland is steadily growing in importance. Invest NI has a sharp focus on assisting the many companies offering expert services across a broad range of activities, including marketing, to realise their potential in the global marketplace,” she adds.
