Dungannon based Woodmarque is successfully growing its business in Great Britain following investments in new equipment, business development and 16 new staff.
The family business has growth plans aimed at tripling its turnover within the next two years. Woodmarque is making solid progress in achieving this objective.
Invest Northern Ireland has offered £90,000 to Woodmarque to support the recruitment of eight of the new jobs that will generate £248,000 annually to the local economy in additional salaries.
Jeremy Fitch, Invest NI’s Executive Director of Business and Sector Development, welcoming the investments said: "Woodmarque operates in a niche area of our manufacturing industry and is committed to innovation to drive its future growth.
"Focussed on growing its customer base in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland the company has attended Invest NI Meet the Buyer visits which have helped them identify new customers. Indeed a recent contract with a major British housebuilder was secured as a result of introductions made at one of these events.
