Local company Hampton Conservatories has launched onto the national stage by announcing their plans to officially expand into the Great Britain marketplace – a move that could double the company’s workforce over the next three years.
The Portrush company, building on its expertise of designing and constructing bespoke hardwood conservatories in the USA and throughout Ireland, recently entered the Great Britain marketplace by developing a highly specialised distributor network covering the UK.
Invest Northern Ireland has offered selective financial assistance of £100,000 co-funded by the EU Building Sustainable Prosperity fund to help Hampton Conservatories expand its operations into the lucrative conservatory market in Great Britain.
The company’s Managing Director Mervyn Montgommery commented:
“Although we have already carried out quite a number of projects throughout the UK, the presence of our local distributors will help us significantly build on our position in the market. This in turn will have a positive impact on our production output and workforce needs in Northern Ireland.”
It is anticipated that the increasing interest in the refurbishment of listed buildings and the continuing growth of luxury housing developments will provide Hampton with the opportunity of continued expansion over the next five years.
Michael Polson, Client Manager with Invest NI commented:
“Hampton Conservatories has managed to raise the standards of quality within its niche market through an innovative range of products and excellent customer care. This new project is set to transform the company over the next few years and will allow it to further strengthen its existing client base.”
