Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has commended Co. Tyrone firm Malplas on its growing export connections following a research visit to Australia last year supported by Invest Northern Ireland. The Moy-based company, which manufactures UPVC window frames and doors, invited the Canberra-based residential building company Solace Creations to Northern Ireland to view its products with the intention of discussing a distribution partnership. The drive to invest in energy efficient products in this market presents valuable sales opportunities which the Tyrone firm is keen to take advantage of.
