Dundonald based firm Adamsez (NI) Ltd which specialises in the manufacture of contemporary acrylic baths is investing approximately £900,000 in an ambitious programme of change that could potentially lead to 13 extra jobs for the company over the next two years.

Selling its products across the UK and the Republic of Ireland Adamsez (NI) Ltd has experienced a rapid increase in sales and has recently invested £400,000 in the construction of a new 13,000 sq ft extension to help meet this higher demand in its products.

Invest Northern Ireland has offered the family owned firm selective financial assistance of £100,000, part-funded from the EU Building Sustainable Prosperity Fund, to help with brand development and marketing of the company’s new products. Adamsez (NI) Ltd, as part of this package, has also received assistance which will allow the company to modernise its current ICT capability and create improved workplace efficiencies.

The firm has previously completed a design development programme offered by Invest NI which allowed them to improve their service offering. Kevin McCann, Director of Transport, Construction and Tourism with Invest NI commented:

“By concentrating upon building a strong, recognisable brand Adamsez (NI) Ltd has been able to increase its market share and boost sales. The financial assistance and business support we have offered the company will allow them to further expand upon their success and move into new and even more profitable markets.”

Offering stylish and affordable baths and related bathroom products the company currently employs 66 full-time staff and with them has successfully cornered the higher end consumer market seeking luxury home improvement goods.

Roger Dunlop, Managing Director with Adamsez (NI) Ltd commented:

“In addition to the spending on the new building we have also expended a further £500,000 in the last 12-18 months in order to offer highly innovative products for a very demanding and style conscious market. By investing in our product range and putting the customer first we have managed to secure our position within a highly competitive business sector. With the help of Invest NI we hope to further enhance our service offering, increase our competitiveness and make the Adamsez brand the first choice for the discerning customer.”
