About the trade mission

Invest Northern Ireland is proposing to take a delegation of Northern Ireland construction companies to Copenhagen in late October 2024. 

The trade mission programme will be tailored specifically to the needs of the businesses attending but will include:

  • An opportunity to attend two relevant trade events:
    • Building Network Construction Conference – providing an opportunity to meet Europe’s key stakeholders and decision makers in the building and construction industry and hear presentations on key future construction projects in the region
    • Building Green – providing an opportunity to be part of a vibrant and dynamic community of 9000 professionals, to network and share experiences about sustainability in construction.
  • Networking opportunities including a reception at the Ambassador’s residence and meet the buyer event
  • An in-market briefing delivered via our Trade Advisory Service provider, NITC
  • Pre-arranged buyer meetings

Who should consider participating in the trade mission?

The trade mission is suitable for: 

  • Businesses operating in the construction sector
  • Businesses with previous exporting experience 
  • Businesses with an interest in selling into the Nordics 

Benefits of participating with Invest Northern Ireland

High level wrap around activity will include:

  • Enhanced networking opportunities
  • Promotion of participation via marketing & PR activity
  • Advice and support from the Invest NI & Department for Business and Trade in market teams

On successful completion of the mission, Invest NI will provide grant assistance of 50% towards an economy flight and £70 per night towards accommodation for one company representative.  

This is subject to the completion of a short evaluation questionnaire.
