The Americas includes the US (the largest single economy at 25% of global GDP), Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean (the world's fourth largest economy). The territory has 13% of the world's population, a £21 trillion GDP, and has the largest English-speaking market.
Comprising of 37 nations, with both advanced and emerging economies, there is export demand and opportunities in: infrastructure, healthcare, ICT, advanced manufacturing, clean technologies, defence and security, food and drink.
Export sales from Northern Ireland to the territory in 2022 totalled £2.1 billion.
