Our drinks producers are winning awards across the globe, driving buoyant sales at home and abroad and our buzzing visitor centres and tap rooms are enticing tourists into cities, towns and villages across Northern Ireland.

Located 20 minutes from Belfast and just yards away from the historic harbour in Donaghadee, County Down overlooking the Copeland Islands, lies the Copeland Distillery. Producing a range of Irish gins, rums and whiskey, Copeland is one of Ireland’s newest and most innovative distilleries.
The 6500 sq. ft. distillery, built at a cost of £1m, is now home to their award-winning Classic Irish and Navy Strength gins, innovative cask-aged rums and a new range of malt and pot-still whiskey which are currently maturing prior to release from 2024.

At Hinch, (taken from Ballynahinch, meaning ‘town of the island’ in Gaelic) and set amongst County Down’s rolling green drumlin hills, they have created a distillery that has aspirations well beyond ‘the ordinary’ and ambitions to be creative well beyond ‘the easily achieved’.
Hinch is located on the beautiful grounds of Killaney Estate in County Down. Their 30,000 sq ft distillery, produces the award-winning Hinch Irish Whiskey and Ninth Wave Irish Gin.
Presso la cittadina di Hinch, (dal nome gaelico Ballynahinch, che significa “città dell’isola”)incastonata tra le dolci colline verdeggianti di Drumlin della Contea di Down, è nata una distilleria che ambisce ad andare ben oltre “l’ordinario” e ad esprimere una creatività che va al di là del “facilmente raggiungibile”.

Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Fiona & David Boyd-Armstrong, Rademon Estate Distillery is Northern Ireland’s first craft distillery. The distillery launched its first spirit Shortcross Gin in 2014 and it is recognised as the most awarded gin produced on the island of Ireland. The distillery produces a full range of gins from its sugar-free pink Rosie’s Garden Gin to its Cask Aged Shortcross Gin.
Irish Whiskey production began in summer 2015, with the first casks of Singe Malt Irish whiskey being laid down in August 2015.
