Routes Europe is the largest regional gathering for all aviation based companies. It is a forum for aviation professionals to meet and plan the future of European air services.

In April we welcomed over 1,100 delegates to Belfast for the 12th Routes Europe conference. Delegates enjoyed 3 days in Northern Ireland participating in over 5,000 1-2-1 meetings and attending networking events in Belfast City Hall and Titanic Belfast.

Visitors travelled from Europe, USA, Oman, Israel, India and enjoyed trips to the Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges as well as cultural and street art walking tours in Belfast City Centre.

The support of 130 volunteers enabled Team NI to make Routes Europe in Belfast a truly memorable experience and “win the hearts” of influential aviation professionals from across the world.

The Department for the Economy and its agencies – Invest NI and Tourism NI – as well as Belfast City Council, Visit Belfast, Tourism Ireland, George Best Belfast City Airport, Belfast International Airport, City of Derry Airport and the Belfast Waterfront worked in partnership to host the event in Northern Ireland.
