In November, 49 schools took part in our Step ‘N’ Zones competition. Today the winners were revealed.

Team Found Ewe from Omagh Academy has been named as the Step ‘N’ Zones 2014 overall winner.

The Step ‘N’ Zones competition invites Key Stage 3 students to develop a new business idea.

The competition, which consisted of five regional events, was held during Global Entrepreneurship Week (17–24 November 2014) and attracted 1,278 pupils from 49 schools.

During the event the students passed through four zones where they got expert guidance on how to develop and research their idea, brand their product, cost it and develop their business plan.

One team of pupils from each event was chosen as the regional finalist and was invited to compete in the final event which took place on 23 January in Invest NI’s Belfast office.
