Five companies from Northern Ireland exhibited at World Ag Expo 2023 in Tulare, California, the USA’s largest agricultural trade show. More than 1,500 exhibitors displayed the latest in farm equipment, communications and technology on 2.6 million sq.ft of exhibition space.
Farming is Northern Ireland’s biggest industry. Skills and knowledge nurtured here are exported worldwide. We are delivering products and services internationally in the areas of farm machinery, animal health and nutrition, innovative software solutions, and food production.

Customers include retailers, both sole traders and multiples, large and small animal veterinary practices, pharmacies, food manufacturers, saddleries and tack shops, as well as intensive food producers including poultry growers and pig farmers.

Established in 2013, based on 40 years of mushroom industry experience, the Craigavon-based agri-tech business design and manufacture technology that helps farmers with the mushroom harvesting and packing process. This new technology facilitates the mushroom harvester to harvest mushrooms up to 4 times faster while also automating the cutting, weighing, and packing part of the harvesting process, benefiting efficiencies, quality and costs.

CattleEye is the world's first hardware-independent autonomous livestock monitoring platform. It uses a low-cost security camera to capture video footage and provide insights into herd health and productivity. CattleEye’s mobility scoring module monitors locomotion in cows and highlights any individual cows that may require intervention. Using CattleEye to select cows for hoof trimming and treatment will help manage lameness levels in herds, resulting in improved efficiencies and carbon footprint reduction.
