Belfast Regional Office

Our Belfast Regional Office team is located in Belfast and works in partnership with businesses and stakeholders across the Belfast City Council area.

We work in partnership with our stakeholders to drive economic development throughout the Belfast region, by providing a range of support to help export focused businesses to think strategically and achieve greater export sales.

Over the past five years (2020-2021 to 2024-2025), we have offered £152m of support to 977 businesses in the region.

This support, alongside the companies' investment commitments, has the potential to generate just over £1bn of investment in the local economy, and support the creation of 7,746 jobs.

What we do

The Belfast Regional Office works with businesses from a breadth of sectors including:

Creative Industries
Life & Health Sciences
Financial & Professional Services

We also work with emerging sectors such as cyber security, agri-tech and smart cities.

Head of Regional Business – Belfast Region

Susan O'Kane is the Head of Regional Business for the Belfast region and has been with the organisation since 2003. She has held several roles including working with the ICT and manufacturing sectors.
